Very tasty food and a very friendly service

A great guest house with very good home-style cuisine, but something very special for gourmets like me .... especially friendly and uncomplicated also the nice service! Feel like a welcome guest here and will be happy to come back for a delicious meal .... Big compliments and absolute recommendation to the Spies family plus team !!! ????

The food is delicious. Meat is really tender and the vegetables perfect, salad very well dressed. A friendly and attentive service. Simply good all round.

Food was delicious; Staff friendly; Inviting and clean inn; The cordon blue was hearty and tasted very good. The side salad was fresh, versatile and dressed with love. We were completely satisfied and can only highly recommend the kitchen. My scarf, which I forgot on the chair, was also sent to me by post in a friendly and uncomplicated manner.

Eating really bad. The salad bar is indescribable. Salad from the bucket from the discounter. Open bowls in which hair can fall at any time. Salad not chilled. Don't order any cola wheat. Because there is no such thing here. You get a brown liquid served in the glass that you can not assign. The ice cream comes from the spray can. The meat is not seasoned and completely dry. Not even the chips have salt. You get the spritzer loveless from the bottle. You don't even get the same glasses. On the whole: at every french fries corner around the corner you have better quality and service. Never again. Too bad about the money.

We ordered a table for 4 people for the first time three days beforehand and were very disappointed. After there were still problems with the reservation upon arrival, we were assigned a seat in the last corner of table 15. In the long corridor was a row of tables with about 20 people who celebrated their birthday. We sat at the back of the table. From the acoustics you can imagine that it was not very pleasant for us. You don't need to advertise for the salad bar, there was a small table with six salads. The mustard and yogurt dressing was everything else like dressing, but more like a thin soup in consistency. The cordon bleu ordered was quite small but thick. If you worked it wider, there would have been more cheese and ham. The onion roast was oddly prepared, quite long and thin, not as you know it. How should "medium" work there? The french fries were very thin and very dry to my taste. Eating with a fork is almost impossible, they break apart. There was also a small funny plastic bag filled with ketchup, like from the french fries next door. Doesn't work !!! The deer ragout ordered was great. We would order again immediately. Conclusion: In terms of taste, everything was fine. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful, despite the long distances. Maybe that day the cook was just overwhelmed by the birthday party?
